About the authors

The authors have each been teaching English as a Foreign Language for over 25 years. We have taught in Asia, the Middle East and Europe. We teach English for exams such as IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL and PET. We also teach General English, Business English, English for Academic Purposes and English for Specific Purposes. We have been IELTS Writing examiners for almost 20 years, so we are very familiar with the exam. We currently teach IELTS writing classes to pre-university and university students.

We use a unique method of teaching IELTS Writing which you will not find in other online courses or in books. The method is based on the four IELTS Writing evaluation criteria: Task Achievement/Response, Organisation, Vocabulary and Grammar. This method has been used by us face to face with students for the last five years and it has been proven to be an effective method, because nearly all our students achieve their desired IELTS Writing band by the end of the course.

There are eight courses and it is suggested that you work through one course at a time slowly and carefully, whilst using the notes function to take notes on the content. Your notes can be saved in the course units or downloaded and printed. At the end of each course, you have to write a Task 1 report or a Task 2 essay which will ensure that you can put into practice everything you will have learnt on a course.

I hope that you would like to use our materials and subsequently achieve your real potential in writing.

Thank you.
